Lifestyle | A Mini Cotswolds Adventure

I cannot believe how quickly Christmas has come and gone, December really flew by didn't it?! The weekend before Christmas, Justin and I ventured up to the Cotswolds to spend the night with my dad, his partner, and my little brother. As my dad lives out of the country, it was nice to spend some time with him around the holidays, as we don't see each other often. Justin and I both hadn't been to the Cotswolds before so it was a lovely little adventure! It's such wonderful place, especially around Christmas time, as the villages are so beautifully decorated.

Fashion | Party Prep with BonPrix

We are now thoroughly in the party season, with sparkles, glamorous outfits and very difficult to walk-in shoes galore! If you're still hunting for for a little something special to wear this festive season, or you're looking for a New Year's Eve party dress early (I say early, but I always cannot believe how quickly NYE comes around after Christmas!!) I have a sparkly little number to show you, which you just might like.

I bet you wouldn't have guessed, that this dress is actually from...Bonprix! I would definitely have said Boohoo or Missguided, so I'm pretty impressed with Bonprix. The Shimmering Wrap Dress* is available in pewter (which I'm wearing) and black, in a size 10-32. It's super stretchy, with a wrap over top, and long sleeves - perfect if you'll be venturing out somewhere wearing it. I would definitely recommend sizing up if you don't want it more fitted on the bottom half, as it was a little smaller than I had anticipated. For a smoother silhouette (if VBO isn't your kinda thing), just add some shape wear, otherwise - forget the shape wear and be comfortable like me! I found it really comfortable and actually quite warm, however, it does ride up when you're sat down, so just a note that if you're taller (I'm 5ft7 for reference), you may need tights or something underneath, but if you're happy to -potentially- flash your fellow partygoers then this is a winner!

Fashion | Feeling Festive with Yours

I don't know about you, but I've just started to feel mega festive! Christmas tree is up, flat is decorated and Christmas cards have been posted, so I'm feeling organised, and ready to party! I ventured out this week to pick up a few gifts and wore the cutest Christmas jumper (kindly sent to me from Yours) ever last week, so I had to show you all!

Beauty | Going BareFaced! with Magnitone

I've always wanted to try a cleansing brush, but I've previously felt a little sceptical as to whether they actually worked or not. We all want clear, soft skin so, anything that'll help me get that - I'm trying it! For the past few weeks I've been testing the Magnitone BareFaced!* vibra-sonic daily face brush - and let me say now, I am a complete convert!

Fashion | Autumn Partywear | Lovedrobe

When it comes to party wear, I don't tend to be a super glitzy glam kinda girl, I prefer something a little more understated and simple, but still on trend. This Lovedrobe dress is exactly what I tend to look for around the festive season, with it's lace sleeves and inserts its a classy party dress with a bit of sex appeal!

Fashion | Pinafore + Faux Fur

I seem to be all about hoarding plus size jackets and coats this season, from capes to parka's - If it's out there, and I like it - I've bought it (also currently applies to knitwear - cannot stop myself!). So, when I saw this little beauty pop up on the Newlook website last week, I could not leave without it. It's so different to the styles I've already bought into, so thankfully I don't feel like I'm cheating on my  plus size Navabi Coat of Dreams! Phew!

Fashion | NineX Lingerie

This week I was very lucky to receive a lovely package from one of my favourite lingerie brands - NineX. Their pieces are always good quality and very affordable compared to what we currently have in the plus-size nightwear market.

Fashion | Elvi Autumn Favourites

Elvi has quickly become one of my favourites due to their on trend, classically cut and fashion focused ranges over the past few seasons. This season looks to be the best yet with a colour palette of black, khaki's and burgundy's, it's a well put together, coherent collection, with elements of the perfect capsule wardrobe. I thought I'd pop together a few of my favourites (which was very difficult to narrow down as I pretty much love everything!), and split them into two categories - pieces I'd dress up (gold) and items I'd dress casually (black). Hope you love them as much as I do!

Fashion | The Coat of Dreams

If you saw my most recent blog post (and my mini vlog) you'll know that I recently fell in love with the most beautiful coat at the Navabi plus-size blogger event, which showed off the new 'Navabi collection' in all its luxurious glory! This week, it became mine and I've been dying to blog about it since it arrived - has been torture not being able to wear it!

This wool/felt coat has a very beautiful floral print, which is topped with the most intricate lace application. Its midi length, long sleeves, and full lining make it the perfect addition to my autumn/winter wardrobe. This is the kind of coat that will instantly dress up your outfit, making whatever you wear look next-level-chic! I am most definitely in love! As the coat is very much a statement piece, I opted to pair it with an LBD. Also from Navabi, created by plus-size designer Manon Baptiste, this little black dress is extremely comfortable (Cotton mix), flattering and the delicate lace detail is the perfect feminine touch. It's a very low V front wrap, so if you're quite busty you may want to pop a cami underneath or (like I did!) just go for it without! I love the waist tie detail which ties once around your waist, then you can bow or knot it at the front. I found the shape really flattering as it sits nicely over my hips and stops around the knee - paired with the tie front it, definitely elongates the body.

You'll probably be seeing these two pieces a lot on my social media (as I'm slightly obsessed with them) so I hope you like them as much as I do!

Fashion | A Night With Navabi

A couple of weeks ago, I was very lucky to be invited to an evening with plus-size luxury retailer Navabi, and ultimate trend forecasters WGSN. I've been an avid reader of WGSN since uni, so was thrilled to see that they were co-hosting the event in their very beautiful and minimalistic London head office. I spent a lovely evening with a fabulous bunch of blogger babes, sipping champagne, chatting, laughing and a mega try on session of the new 'Navabi Collection' (sizes 16-30).

One of my favourite parts of the evening was talking to Navabi's Head of Design - Christine Shaw, who told me that she begins her process with the fabric she wants to use, then goes on to sketch and create the design. That alone tells me how strongly Navabi feel about the perfect fabric, cut and fit for each garment. The collection was inspired by "urban surroundings, like cracked pavements, branches and various different textures. The colour scheme is reminiscent of leaves, the grey of street curbs and the greens and blues of parklands." The intricacy of each garment is truly incredible - from the silver chain on the inside of each coat, to the detailed stitching of each dress - these small, surprise details are what makes buying from Navabi, truly special. Click here for the full AW15 collection - probably my favourite of the season so far.

So, here are a few of my favourite images from the event (of course my 'Coat of Dreams' features! Full blog post of that beauty coming soon!).

Fashion | Autumn OOTD with Yours Clothing

I am officially in full autumn mode. Berry lip, jumpers, hot chocolate - the lot (even though the sun is still shining most days down here in Dorset, but I'm ok with pretending!). I've been slowly building up my AW15 wardrobe over the past couple weeks, which has been quite a task considering I'm not too big on the 70's trend! So, I was very pleased when the lovely ladies over at Yours Clothing asked me to pick a couple of autumny pieces to review.

Fashion | Neutral Galore OOTD

I don't know about you, but I find all neutral outfits always look so fresh, well put together, and they generally cheer me up! White is probably quite a risky colour to wear - not due to the typical 'you can't wear that' rubbish, but as I'm slightly accident prone I fear the risk of spillages or large puddles! I risked it for the night we ventured to the Moulin Rouge, and went for a white/cream/gold mix.

Fashion | All Black OOTN

I've now finally come to terms with the fact that summer is over. I don't actually remember it happening in the UK, but I hear we had at least two days of sunshine which constitutes as summer. Usually, I'd be feeling depressed by this, but instead I'm too excited that I can now pack away my UNWORN summer wardrobe, and fully buy into AW15. Bring on oodles of lace and embellishment, gothic romance, dark plum lips and all black outfits!

I loved wearing this all black outfit in Paris last week. I reckon you can tuck just about anything into a midi skirt and make it into a dressy, yet comfortable outfit. This midi skater skirt from Asos is a thick jersey fabric which sits nicely over the hips and is so versatile - I know I'll get a lot of wear out of it! I wore it with an embellished collar black shirt from H&M - which is now no longer available, but a very similar beautiful shirt from Yours Clothing is available here. I think even up to a year ago I would have probably shied away from wearing an outfit like this due to showing a bit of leg and the skirt being relatively fitted around my waist. That just shows me how much my mind set has changed as I absolutely loved wearing it and felt confident and fabulous!

Fashion | UKPSFW

We are only weeks away from UK Plus-size fashion week - the largest plus event in Europe, where buyers, press, bloggers and oodles of lovely ladies and gents join together for a fashion filled weekend. This year, the event promises to be bigger and better with catwalk shows, a beauty bar, panel discussions and you might also spot a few celebs! It's so refreshing to finally have an event where we plus fashion lovers can meet up, and view next seasons hottest styles.

Lifestyle | Beginners yoga tips

I previously assumed that yoga and meditation was something people did to look fashionable, follow the celebs and live the 'Tumblr lifestyle'. I most definitely ate my words as I've now been completely converted, and really wish I'd given it a go before now.  It wasn't until I saw online that practicing yoga can help to decrease lactic acid in your muscles, and also decrease joint pain, that I thought I needed to give it a go as this would be a huge plus considering I have a joint related condition. I've yet to find somewhere local to me for beginners classes, so for now I practice at home as often as I can. I can honestly say, it's one of the most relaxing and enjoyable parts of my day. I appreciate that for a lot of people it's difficult to find the time, but even if it's something you make time for a couple of times a week - you'll thank yourself!

I'm in no way a yoga expert, but from my experience so far, I've popped together some tips which I think could be useful to any fellow newbies!

Lifestyle | How I gained confidence

I was pretty much always the 'chubby' kid. Even in primary school I was a little bigger than the others, which then followed on to high school. Near enough six horrendous years (at a school I felt ignored bullying) which I'm so relieved I'll never have to relive. Moving onto uni, I was yet again bigger than the friends I made - that didn't bother me as such, it was just inconvenient at times. I remember trying to make excuses as to why I couldn't go shopping with them, solely because I knew that Topshop, Riverisland etc didn't stock my size, so I saved myself the embarrassment and just didn't go. I used to try to get in and out of the Newlook inspire section as quickly as humanly possible, just in case anyone I knew saw me. When I think about all this now, I really really wish I could tell the me back then that all of that hiding just isn't worth it.

I tried to act as confident as I could, but even that can become really difficult. I remember buying a beautiful, on trend hot pink pencil skirt, it was fitted and I remember thinking about sending it back as it showed off more than I was comfortable with, but in the end I wore it. My confidence was crushed within the hour when I heard a guy in a bar make some sort of fat-shaming related comment to his friends about me. I got obsessed with diets, skipping from one to the next when I didn't see much of a difference, I'd swim for hours instead of going out with my friends, and in general I was incredibly hard on myself. I couldn't get to the point of being happy with my body.

Fast forward a couple of years, and I land my ideal job in fashion buying. Unfortunately 2 years later, that was followed by a diagnosis of Psoriatic Arthritis (kickstarted by a hell of an infection). It's at that point, when I felt at my very lowest due to the pain from my condition, losing then gaining weight due to steroids/medication, and having to sacrifice my job, that I stumbled upon a blog which was not only full of positivity, but encouraged me to celebrate my body, and enjoy fashion regardless of what others thought of me. That blog was From The Corners of The Curve by mega babe Callie Thorpe. Callie's positive nature, body confidence, and clear love of fashion really inspired me,  and her blog was most definitely what planted the seed to the beginning of my new found confidence.

For me, the battle was just as much mental as it was physical. To drastically change your mindset takes time, and it really has taken me a while to get to this point. If you're wondering why I'm explaining all of this, it's because I want people who are going through the same body-hate as I did, to know that you can change your mindset, it just takes time and encouragement. I created ChloEllio.co.uk in October last year, and feel overwhelmed by the positive response I've had. I've been approached by brands I admire, and been included in some lovely articles - all of which have been a huge confidence boost, however the most rewarding thing is knowing that I'm helping to encourage others to love their body, whilst offering some plus fashion insight. I've read a lot recently (and had comments on my Instagram) that we plus bloggers are 'promoting obesity'. That is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. If I instagrammed a picture of me sat stuffing my face at McDonalds with the caption 'Come get fat with me!', then perhaps I could be accused of that. I'm simply trying to promote the fact that you can wear whatever the hell you want, and look however you want, regardless of what society tells us.

We all deserve to have happiness, and to live our own lives the way we want to live them. I try to eat healthily, swim, and do yoga as many times a week as my body can handle, yet at times I am still judged solely on the way I look. It's perplexing how small minded and unempathetic some humans can be. The kind of human that thinks its okay to leave a comment on my Instagram page calling my picture 'disgusting' when i posted a picture in a bikini. The kind of human that thinks he has the right to shout abuse at me from a passing car. The guy in the bar that thought it was okay to body shame me right in front of my friends. The truth is, they are weak people that feel the need to bring others down to make themselves feel better, or to 'show off' to their friends. They don't know of the potential underlying illness or mental struggles a person might have. I do not understand why they feel the need to, or think they have a right to shame others.

I wish I could tell the me back at school - and at uni - that I would accept myself, even after being diagnosed with a debilitating condition, that I would create a space which would encourage others to be happy regardless of how they looked, that I would meet the kindest, most supportive man I've ever met in my life, and that judging someone based purely on how they look is... pointless. So, if you're someone that wishes for confidence, or wants to look like someone else, please just be happy that you are you. Only YOU can bring out that confidence you're looking for.

Fashion | Navabi AW15 New In's

Navabi is the ultimate place to shop if you're looking for premium plus size fashion. The website itself is effortlessly stylish, easy to use and has some inspirational fashion content with tips and clips from the likes of supermodel Ashley Graham, and blogger mega-babe Nicolette Mason. Fashion | Newlook Off Duty OOTD

I cannot help but buy into new season styles early. When I see something I like from the season ahead, I know I probably shouldn't buy it quite yet, but then outfits start building in my head and before I know it, I've bought it. Although I don't really want to admit it, were almost at that transitional time between summer and autumn, so I thought I'd start early!

I went on a bit of a Newlook spree the other day as I'm pretty impressed with their early peek into AW15, so here's a couple things I picked up.

Beauty | My Jo Malone Favourites

Jo Malone: the house of bespoke, quintessentially British classic fragrances, is most definitely at the forefront of the perfumery industry. With their unexpected scents, coveted candles and iconic packaging, there's always something special about receiving and opening one of their cream and black boxes! I've been an advocate of the brand for years, so I thought it was about time to share with you my ultimate favourites from my collection, most are mainline, and readily available from Jo Malone online and in store.

Fashion | Date night OOTN

Last week I went to the cutest country pub right beside the sea, amazing view, brilliant food and rather handsome company (as he told me himself!!). Is it just me that finds eating outside in the summer makes the food taste better?! Could just be me, but thats one thing I always look forward to! We had a lovely meal, some drinks and a walk along the beach - perfect date night!

I wore some ripped jeans, a khaki blouse and some statement flats - Comfortable outfit but still looked quite dressy. Lace-up flats make any outfit look a little smarter (Great alternative to heels), plus the pair I'm wearing are only £28 - bit of a bargain considering the amount of wear you'll get out of them this season! I always find that pairing a smart/casual evening look with a bright lip brings the outfit together. I went for the Anastasia liquid lipstick in Carina, full blog post on it here - One of my all time favourite lip products.

Fashion | City Chic at Evans

It's always exciting when we have a new brand/label to shop, and over the past couple of years we seem to have had a surge of more trend led labels with a plus size offering. City Chic are an american brand founded in 2008, with an aim of providing 'Bold, sexy and chic' fashion for plus size women. From Sydney to South Africa, the brand now have a relatively far reach but only finally entering the UK market through Evans.

Evans have selected a 14-28 clothing size range, and 38D - 44F in lingerie. In terms of product mix, theres a decent choice and representation of what the brand has to offer, however I do feel that there's a bit of a lack of bottoms (skirts, trousers), and evening dresses - the brand seem to have a really strong offering on their website. Being in fashion buying myself, I appreciate you can't select everything, but as a customer I'd have liked a wider initial collection.

So, here are a few of my favourites from the collection. Just click the purple links at the bottom if you'd like a closer look.

Fashion | The Perfect Oversized Shirt

I seem to always be on the hunt for the perfect shirt. Whether its crisp, white and fitted or longline and oversized, I'm always looking! I saw this Colour Block Boyfriend Shirt from Asos on the website about a month ago, but pretty much the second it launched, it sold out. That definitely made me a little emotional as I knew I'd love it. I eventually got my hands on one, and selected a size 24 as I wasn't too sure fit wise which to go for. On wearing it I'd say if oversized isn't your thing, go down a size but, if you like that kinda look like I do, go for your usual size or even one above.

We headed to a cute little vintage fair the day I wore it - I wouldn't have worn white had I known I would be surrounded by grass and mud but thankfully no mishaps - and I found it really comfortable to wear, not at all restricting, very light and kept me cool. I love the rolled up sleeves shirt look, I think it makes it look much less formal, but still quite chic. I teamed it with some light leggings, big sunnies and slip ons to make it more summery! Next time I wear it I think I'd tuck it into a midi skirt with some lace up heels, a statement necklace and clutch bag for a smart/casual night look.

Fashion | Lighthouse Lunch + New Favourite Maxi

It has been hot hot in the UK this week, and I've been trying to take advantage at every opportunity, as it doesn't take long for it to turn! I headed out for lunch by the sea the other day, so thought I'd show you my outfit, as although its simple, its definitely one of my new favourites.

I'm going to be honest in saying a lot of this season Newlook hasn't really been to my taste, and I've primarily shopped at ASOS, and SimplyBe, so I was super happy to see something I finally liked (albeit Newlook on the ASOS website). The tile print maxi is very lightweight - perfect for the overwhelmingly hot UK weather at the moment, and ideal for popping on in the evening if you were off on holiday! With two high leg splits and a strap back, I love the detail that they've put into this maxi, alongside the beautiful blue tile print with some hints of orange. I wore it casually with some blue and silver sandals, a custom necklace and my much loved Marc Jacobs sunglasses. This would be very easy to dress up for the evening with some heeled gladiators, a statement necklace and summery clutch (+ a wrap or cardi if its on the chilly side).

Funny to think that I used to shy away from anything that showed any leg (or arm)... now my mind set has done a 180, and I now think life is far too short to not wear whatever the hell you want!

Fashion/Beauty | Benefit - Another Body-Shaming Brand

(C/o Benefit Instagram)

Most of you may have seen the perplexing body-shaming tweets from (so called) positive beauty brand Benefit Cosmetics yesterday, where they 'joined in' on the degradation of us plus-size individuals.

Lifestyle | Beach Day!

As the weather has been beautiful, Justin decided it would be a good beach-lunch kind of day! We ate lunch, had the mother of all ice creams, and then chilled out on the beach - it was perfect! Even though it took me at least 2 minutes to be able to stand up from sitting in the sand... Very ladylike.

I went for quite a minimal makeup look, with a nude pink lip (Rodeo Drive - Gerard Cosmetics) - you might have seen the below picture if you follow me on Instagram. Definitely one of the best lipstick formulas I've ever tried - super buttery, great pay off and for £11.50 a bullet - a total bargain! Apologies for the lack of outfit pictures, seem to have lost them to my memory card :(. I wore an Asos V neck tunic which is one of my favourite things I've bought so far this summer! Super light weight as its chiffon, the ivory colour way looks fresh and summery, and the long side splits are right on trend. I also wore my Asos Rivingtons, H&M pumps, Mulberry Bayswater and Marc Jacobs sunglasses from Eyewearbrands.

Beauty | Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick | Carina

The beauty market has seen a recent influx of matte lipsticks and liquid lipsticks, from Sleek to Stila - they're everywhere! One brand in particular seems to be dominating the market - Anastasia Beverly Hills. Known for holy grail brow products, their liquid lipsticks are the best of the best in terms of pay off, colour and formula.

I recently bought a new shade so thought I'd pop it on to show you, and let you know what I thought. I selected 'Carina' a rich hot pink with some hints of red, as I thought it would look great for summer. The colour in the online swatch doesn't quite match the product itself, but I still really like the colour regardless. The pigment of these is incredible, so much stronger and more vibrant than other brands I've tried. You could easily coat your lips completely with one swipe on each, then blend out the edges with a lip brush. Dryness tends to be an issue with many matte lipsticks and liquids, but the formula of these is not at all drying - way worth paying more to feel a little more comfortable!

Fashion | The Best of the New-in's!

We've seen both the sun (HALLELUJAH!) and an influx of new season fashion this week - two of my favourite things, so I've popped together some of my most loved styles and trends from our retailers newly launched. From tile print maxi's to multi-strap swimwear, plus-size clothing is even stronger than last season on the trend front, particularly from Asos Curve, SimplyBe, Boohoo Plus and Missguided plus.

If you want to have a closer look at any of the below styles, as always just click on the pink/purple descriptions, which will take you over to the product page.

Lifestyle | Anniversary Mini Trip with OOTN

This week was mine and Justin's anniversary, so we decided to have a little night away for some relaxation and to celebrate! We booked the new Hilton in Southampton, in an Executive King room which overlooks the Ageas cricket pitch, neither of us being cricket fans (didn't even make an attempt to understand it)- but the view was incredible. Luckily, the weather was beautiful so it made the view even more enjoyable! Justin treated us both to an afternoon in the spa, which was one of the most relaxing afternoons of my life! From Juniper Berry infused steam rooms, to relaxation pods and rooftop Jacuzzi's, it was exactly what we both needed (I could have quite easily stayed in there the entire day).

In the evening we headed for dinner (the most delicious risotto I've ever eaten) and cocktails in the Executive lounge - free cocktails always seems like a great idea... I wore an Asos bardot top, stripe midi skirt and Lana lace up's. I loved wearing this outfit, really comfortable but still looks quite smart. The bardot cut is the neckline of the season, and is perfect for showing off some shoulder this summer. I paired it with gold jewellery from Asos and Chanel, and finally had the opportunity to wear thee most beautiful crystal gold handmade bracelet* from Mauritian Gems. Justin's full outfit is Ralph Lauren, with glasses from RayBan at Eyewearbrands.

Fashion | Summer Nautical OOTD

I love the Nautical trend - that seems to come round just about every spring/summer - but in a more diluted form. For a trend like this, you only need a couple of key pieces, the rest you'll probably already have in your wardrobe. The same rule applies to most trends, so if you see one particular piece you like, buy it and raid your wardrobe for the rest of the outfit!

The key pieces I chose were a striped blazer, and matching pumps. I paired them with my favourite skinnies, a bandeau style top, and of course - a red lip. Red lips are the key to nauticalness! In terms of accessories, I always find that silver works with blue and anything stripy so I wore my silver rings from Pandora, and a nautical navy rope necklace from Monsoon. I could have worn a skirt and a cami, but it was a tad too chilly so opted for my reliable Asos Ridley jeans! I felt it was the ideal outfit for a wee stroll and lunch down by the Harbour, bring on many more days like this, this summer!

Fashion | Panache Role Models Campaign

Last week whilst browsing Youtube, a Panache ad popped up. Usually I pay no attention to the ads in-between videos as they're either not relevant to me or I've seen them a thousand times. This was one I hadn't seen, and it immediately caught my eye for a couple of reasons - 1.I've grown to be quite a big Panache fan over the past few years due to being in the buying industry, and viewing one stunning collection after another from the brand, and 2. the very beautiful lingerie model (Marquita Pring) starts the ad with a question - 'What do you see when you look at me?'.

Marquita lists some of her many achievements through the ad such as being featured on the cover of Vogue Italia, and also being a co-founder of ALDA- a group that promotes body positivity and encourages women to embrace their curves whatever size or shape they are. The ad ends with the final message from Marquita being 'Because I'd like to think there's so much more to me, than the way I look'. To see such an inspirational woman deliver this extremely positive message really got me thinking. We live in a world where 'celebrities' and models tend to be idolised -Cara, Karlie, Kylie...why do people idolise them? Is it because of the way that they look, or the impact they've had on the world? Is it their fame status, or is it how much they have accomplished in their lives and careers? When you think of your role models, what is it that makes them a 'role model' to you?

Jennie Biano, the Panache Head of Marketing explained 'The campaign delivers our objectives through six inspiring women and their personal achievements, and I hope it will inspire the next generation of role models, and I am extremely proud of the results.' Panache claim that although '81% of women today agree role models raise aspirations, 75% of them think there are no aspirational female role models', Well, here you go that 75%! Here are some incredibly inspirational 'role models'!

Martyna Kaczmarek - set up the charity 'Day in the Life' which promotes bone marrow donation in Poland.

Mica Paris - Mica is British soul singer, Charity Patron and was named one of the '100 Great Black Britons'.

Rachel Elliott - Rachel's selfless attitude in her role as an Ebola battling nurse in Sierra Leone make her the perfect choice for this Panache campaign.

Hannah Cockcroft MBA - Hannah is the world record holder in the 100m, 200m, 400m, and 800m wheelchair raising. Just wow.

Amy Hughes - Amy holds some very impressive world records - 17 consecutive marathons in Texas, and 53 marathons in 53 days in 53 cities around the UK!

So, here it is - the video that prompted this blog post. I hope you find it as thought-provoking and inspirational as I did.

What do you think of the campaign? Who are your role models? Feel free to comment below or Tweet/Instagram me by clicking below xx

Lifestyle | Another day, Another Castle! + OOTD

The sun FINALLY ventured out this weekend in Weymouth, so Justin and I decided to find somewhere to have our first picnic of the summer. Sandford Castle, surrounded by the sea and plenty of areas to lounge around, was the perfect location for the afternoon. Not so perfect for my hay-fever, but I was happy for people to assume I just looked a bit emoshe due to my streaming eyes.

I'm still having to cover up to keep out of the sun (due to medication) which pains me greatly!! I'm a firm tan lover/ sun worshipper, so all I can say is thank goodness for false tan! I wanted to look nice but still feel comfortable, as I knew we would be doing a bit of walking, so I opted for my Asos Curve swing dress, which is very flattering and has a really beautiful back cut out detail (that I annoyingly forgot to photograph!), and some summery navy floral leggings from Matalan (No longer available, similar available here.) Sadly, my fro was uncontrollable... as you're about to see.

* Prepare yourself for some very wind swept images! *
