Lifestyle | Sunny Day out + OOTD feat Evans Clothing

Last week, we had some absolutely beautiful weather down in Dorset, so Justin and I took full advantage and ventured out for the day to a little castle for some lunch, and a stroll around.

I popped into Evans recently to have a look at their new season styles, so thought this would be the perfect day to test run the things I bought. I went for the White Dobby Shirt, which is a light-weight long cotton top with V-neck and front pleats. I really like this, as its very easy to wear - over leggings, or jeans. I've been searching for a nice pair of pink pumps to wear alongside my bag, and found the perfect pair in Evans. The Pink Weave Ballet Pumps are very pretty, with lovely detailing. The only thing I'd say is that they are very wide, so you may need an insole. I teamed them with my Asos Curve Jameson jeans, Asos oversized hat (which I had to hold on as it kept wanting to fly away), Accessorize necklace (sold out), and my Prada Double bag.

Have you been out enjoying the sunshine? I' love to know what you've been up to, so feel free to leave your comments below. I post on Instagram daily, so you're more than welcome to pop over and say Hello! xx

Beauty | MUOTD Rose Pink Lip Blend

Hope you are all having a beautifully sunny week! If not, I like to pretend it's sunny outside and have a beverage anyway...5 o'clock somewhere isn't it?! I love this summery rosey lip and bronze cheek combo I've been wearing all week so I thought I would share it with you!

As always, I started with Nars Sheer Glow, and Creamy Radiant concealer - both give you a glowy bright base, perfect for summer. At this point I popped on a little lip balm (Maybelline baby lips in strike a rose) so that when I get round to applying my lipstick, my lips will be nicely hydrated. I added a light coating of Urban Decay Perversion Mascara - my absolute favourite as its a light, non-clumpy buildable formula.

To add some dimension, I lightly contoured with the Illamasqua Bronze and contour, and added some warmth to my jawline and forehead using the Make-up revolution baked bronze in Golden days. Lastly, I popped on the beautiful Nars cream blush in lokoum (cream blushes are great for dry skin as they don't look as patchy as powders can!).

I used a blend of two products on my lips. Firstly, Nars Audacious in the shade Natalie, which is a beautiful bright rose pink. I wanted a little more depth so I dabbed in the Stila convertible lip and cheek in Petunia, onto my bottom lip then blended. I love the result!

What do you think of this look? I'd love to know your thoughts, so feel free to comment below or head over to my Instagram page and let me know what you think!

Fashion | OOTD featuring Alice & You

I spotted this cute cold shoulder dress on the Asos website from label Alice & You, and was initially in two minds about buying, purely due to the embroidery/boho look not really being my style. I bought it anyway as I thought it looked light, fresh and on trend for summer. The fabric is just as light and airy as I imagined, which made it perfect for a little walk down to the beach with Justin. I paired it with my Prada sandals (previous season), Mulberry top handle bag (previous season), Asos Curve rings and a Violetta by Mango cuff (sold out).

I decided to edge away from the typical spring nude/nude pink lip and opted for Mac Ablaze - a fiery pinky/red, which tied in nicely with the embroidery on the dress. I added a light bronzer (Nars Laguna), and a beautiful peachy Make-up Revolution highlighter which my lovely friend Georgia recommended.

(Someone caught a little too much sun)

Have you started buying summery clothing and accessories? What do you think of this Alice & You dress? Feel free to let me know in the comment box below! I'm on Instagram everyday (addict) so feel free to pop over for a chat xx

Fashion | Elvi Spring Collection | Abstract Shirt Review

It's officially spring!! I am loving seeing all of the retailers Spring/Summer 15 collections filtering online and instore, one of my favourites being the beautifully elegant, well structured and stylish pieces from Elvi. Elvi asked me if I wanted to try something out from their new range, so I chose this beautiful monochrome (huge trend for spring!) abstract shirt.

The shirt, available in sizes 14-26,  has a full button front, chiffon sleeves and a folded lapel (thumbs up to Elvi on their attention to detail!) - a design element you see in a lot of high-end collections. The abstract print is stunning, a mesh of grey, black and white - one of the main reasons I chose it! In terms of sizing, it is relatively true to size, however, if you have a larger bust, you may want to go up a size as the lapel puckered over my bust slightly. The length is perfect, in my opinion there's nothing worse than a short shirt!

The beauty of this shirt is you could wear it to work, wear it for a formal occasion, on a night out with black skinnies and heels, or smart casual like I've worn it with some jeans and flats. All in all, I'm really impressed with Elvi. Well styled, true to size, and great value for money at £39, as I can truly tell I'll get a lot of wear out of it!

What I'm Wearing:
Violetta By Mango Necklace (no longer available)
Zara monochrome pointed flats (no longer available)

Have you shopped with Elvi before? What do you think of their Spring collection? As always, feel free to pop your comments below! I'm an absolute Instagram addict, so feel free to click below to follow me, and say hello!
