If you've followed my blog for a while, you'll probably have picked up on the fact that I wear a lot of pink, romantic styles as that's generally my comfort zone and what I've realised over the past couple of years, has evolved into my 'style'. This spring I thought I'd try something a little different and play around with a few pieces from this seasons western trend.

Over the past few weeks I've noticed a definite shift in what I'm actively choosing to wear - less black, and a lot of pastel! I don't think there's any outfit too pastel filled when it comes to spring, as like the breton stripe - it's a classic spring staple. One very beautiful new addition to my wardrobe is this classically chic pink straight cut blazer from Navabi.

We FINALLY have some spring sunshine, albeit sporadic, so I've been starting to add a few more casual pieces into my wardrobe, noticing I'm heavily into one particular trend this season - florals. Florals come back year after year in spring in different textures and styles. This year the material is light and delicate and the print itself is ethereal and botanical - definitely one of my favourite types of floral. I rarely dress in jeans and t-shirts (I'm a dress kinda girl!), but saw these from the new Newlook Curve range and had to give them a go!

New Look Inspire has always been there for us plus size babes. In my teens and through uni it was one of the only on-trend stores I could go to to actually try things on to test fit, as I did most of my shopping online usually having to guess the right size. Over the past couple years the brand seems to have focused their inspire range on basics, so I was thrilled to hear that the inspire range was being completely revamped to feature more on trend pieces.

Each season, there are a few select pieces which always get me excited, and keen to start re-evaluating my wardrobe for that particular time of year. This dress was most definitely one of them. I bought it at the beginning of March, and had a painful 3 week wait until it was finally delivered, in all it's delicious lacey glory.
