The -Stressless Shopping- Christmas Gift Guide

I absolutely love Christmas shopping, I start planning around Mid-August and from then onwards the gift buying begins! I know that a lot of people get a wee bit stressed with Christmas shopping, so I  thought I'd make a one stop guide gift to show you a few of my favourite things from just ONE shop - it makes shopping so much easier, and means that you too can become that smug person - I am also this person - amongst your friends and family that says 'I've already finished my shopping!' whilst everyone else panics around you :).

3 Things I've Been Doing To Get My Body Confidence Back

Lately, I've been so busy lately that I've barely noticed a steady increase in a lack of body confidence creeping up on me. I know that everyone has their moments, even if you would consider yourself as 'body positive', it's difficult to ALWAYS like your body. I've been working over the past couple of weeks on getting that confidence back, which admittedly has been even more difficult than usual in the midst of a chronic pain flare up. I thought I'd let you know the few things I've been doing to try to help, in the hope that if your confidence is low, they might help you too.

5 Style Staples You Need In Your AW17 Wardrobe

As we're nearing autumn I'm wearing darker colours, religiously reaching for embellished accessories and selecting the same basic pieces time and time again to create my outfits with. In the plus-size market I still feel like we lack strong basics at decent prices, we either have to sacrifice the quality or pay way over what our straight size pals would be charged, and it's not really fair. I've compiled a list of 5 Style Staples which are essential in my wardrobe - and where to find them - in the hope that they might help you build your core wardrobe, as much as they've helped me create mine.

It is so difficult to find well fitting, reasonably priced plus-size t-shirts, and I honestly have no idea why that is. I found a few from ASOS Curve, but they seemed pretty expensive for what they are. Well, I can tell you that I have found the ideal white t-shirt at an absolutely ridiculous price. They might be labelled as mens, but they're excellent! Great quality, really soft and only £3.00 (on sale at the moment!) for TWO T-SHIRTS. How great is that?! I'd suggest sizing down as the shoulders are a little roomy.

2. The Wide Leg Trouser/Culottes
I'm usually a dress or skirt and shirt kinda girl, but recently I've been wearing more trousers and jeans and I'm kinda enjoying it! I found a mega comfortable pair of culottes, and plan on buying them in literally every colour they come in as not only are they really comfortable, but they look great too. Tuck in a shirt, t-shirt, jumper - anything, and you're ready to go!

3. The Leather Jacket
This is a bit of a no-brainer in terms of being a style staple, but the perfect leather jacket can be difficult to find. Whether your budget covers faux or real leather, it's all about the fit. Sadly, my trusty ASOS leather biker has sold out, but I've tagged this gorgeous light grey jacket below which I'll definitely be wearing all autumn.

4. The White Shirt
The shirt has been upgraded over the past few seasons, but - in my opinion - nothing beats a super crisp simple white shirt. I have quite a few in my wardrobe at the moment of varying lengths and cuts, so thought I'd show you a couple of variations. I love the longline shirt below paired with jeans, trainers, camera bag and some statement earrings - perfect, casual weekend outfit.

5. The Perfect Skinny Jeans
Well fitting jeans are notoriously difficult to find, BUT I think I have actually found my ideal fitting skinny jeans, at a reasonable price. The SimplyBe Chloe's (great name ;) ) and River Island Molly's are already a firm favourite with loads of my pals, and I can personally vouch for both styles. Hope you find a pair perfect for you too!

Why You Should Get It All Out This Summer

With summer comes the notorious, bullshit 'beach body' propaganda. We deal with it every.single.year. So far, I feel like i've managed to dodge/block a lot of it but when one campaign dies down, another quickly pops up. I'm here to tell you that absolutely nothing said in these campaigns should affect what you wear, how you feel or how good a summer you have. For so many years I let them affect mine and now I refuse to let that happen.

4 Pieces You Need In Your Summer Wardrobe

I don't want to tempt fate BUT, I hear we're going to have a mini heat-wave this week in the UK, and my good god I. Am. Excited. Admittedly I can't really be in the sun due to medication, but warm weather means summer wardrobe, outdoor eating, and generally feeling happier (in the shade, I promise). I thought I'd show you 5 fashion pieces I've picked up lately for my summer wardrobe, because I can now finally wear them...for this week at least!

Why I Always Buy Glasses Online ft Dolce & Gabbana Eyewear at Glasses Direct AD

I've worn glasses since I was 12 and still remember my very first pair; They were from a local independent optician, the choice was abysmal, but they still cost my mum a small fortune. Nobody went online to buy glasses then, you were kinda forced to buy locally and accept the ridiculous prices, but now it's the only way I'd buy my glasses so I thought I'd show you my most recent pair, and tell you why online is where its at for eyewear.

The Perfect Smart/Casual Spring Pieces

I recently realised that I've adopted a bit of a spring uniform. The same simple outfit formulation but just switching up the pieces within it to make it look a little different each time. It's the perfect smart/casual look, so thought I'd share in case it's just the kinda vibe you're looking for.

5 Things To Try When Anxiety Strikes

You'll probably be quite familiar with that stomach wrenching, impending doom feeling if you, like me, have anxiety. I imagine everyone gets anxious from time to time, but anxiety is like a constant - on the verge of panic - feeling which looms over you, just waiting to ruin your day. Recently I've been looking into some different methods to help combat mine, so thought I'd share them in the hope that they even help one anxious babe.

Why You Should Push Yourself Out Of Your Clothing Comfort Zone

So, you might be looking at this outfit and thinking Chloe, you're wearing 95% powder pink, how could that not be in your comfort zone? Well pals, it's not the colour palette thats a comfort pusher for me, it's the trousers.

Six SS17 Trend Pieces You Need + Where To Find Them Now

Whilst it's still pretty cold in the UK, I'm holding onto the hope that we're getting nearer to the warmer spring weather, and with spring comes new collections, new trends and many a new item to spend all of your money on!

Here are six trend items for the coming season with plus-size friendly options for each, available now. It's always nice to have a few items ready for the new season isn't it?! We definitely don't have the volume of trend options as our straight-size counterparts - equally unsurprising and frustrating, but I'm hoping we'll see more variations of each trend in plus-size over the coming months. Let me know which of these is your favourite, think mine is definitely statement sleeves.

4 Tips On How To Dress Simply But Look Chic

My style has evolved quite considerably over the past year. I used to accessorise a little too hard, and never really felt put together or comfortable that I'd found my own 'style'. Now, when I'm organising an outfit I look for simple pieces as my starting point and build the look from there. I have a few tips for doing just that - dressing up your favourite basic wardrobe staples to make chic, put together looks.

The Perfect Wide-Fit Thigh High Boots

I think I spent most of September-December searching for a pair of good quality thigh high boots in an actual wide fit. Some brands definition of wide fit is an additional 1cm of fabric - sorry to tell you, that is no help to anybody! So, I was a little surprised to find not one, but TWO pairs of boots which fit well, weren't at all expensive and actually fit a chunky leg - YAS.
